BRIX Marine Delivers New Recreational Monohull

Port Angeles, WA – Redoubt, a 32’ monohull, was recently delivered by BRIX Marine (formerly Armstrong Marine USA). This 3211-RCM features a high-performance reverse chine hull, measuring 32’ x 10’9”, and a spacious full width cabin. After successful sea trials in Port Angeles, WA, Redoubt is destined for adventures in Alaska.

The 3211-RCM is powered by twin Yamaha 300hp outboards paired with Helm Master electronic steering and joystick controls at both the main and outdoor helm stations. The vessel houses a 300-gallon fuel tank and cruising burn rate of 1.2 miles per gallon. At 40 miles per hour, this gives the vessel a range of more than 300 miles on a full tank with 10% reserve. To further improve performance while underway, the 3211-RCM is equipped with a Zipwake Dynamic Trim-Control System providing active trim adjustments for the boat. The navigation electronics package was supplied by Garmin and includes a flush mounted touchscreen MFD for charts, radar, and depth sounder at the main station. The vessel also includes a Fusion stereo and speakers for entertainment.

The cabin provides a sleek, modern appeal with deep colors, cool carbon-fiber details, and beautiful wood accents. For comfort, the cabin is heated with a Webasto furnace ducted throughout the interior. This climate-controlled space includes a V berth in the forward cuddy with opening portlights for increased light and ventilation. The dinette on the port side has a switch-back forward bench seat and a drop table for an additional berth. A full height head compartment with sink and electric flush toilet is housed behind the dinette on the port side, with active ventilation in the roof and a frosted drop slider window for additional fresh air. The well-appointed galley on the starboard side boasts ample counter space along with a Wallas diesel cooktop, deep sink, and an AC/DC refrigerator by Norcold. The helm station is ergonomically designed to house all mission critical controls and includes a state-of-the-art Shockwave Corbin2 chair mounted on an S5 suspension module for comfort and protection.

The vessel sports a large aft deck with two 65-gallon fish lockers with macerators, an EZ-Pull pot puller system, two downrigger mounting pads, and 12 rod holders. The bow deck includes a Lone Star GX4 anchor windlass. A fully electric dingy davit eases launch and recovery for a tender that can be situated on the cabin roof.
