BRIX Marine Delivers Research Vessel Sound Outlook to Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection

BRIX Marine announces the delivery of R/V Sound Outlook, a custom 4416-CTC built for the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (CT DEEP). The vessel departed Port Angeles by truck in early June 2026 and is bound for Old Lyme, Connecticut, where it will support the agency’s marine research and environmental monitoring operations. Sound Outlook is the latest in a series of research vessels BRIX Marine has delivered to government and scientific organizations across North America.

BRIX Marine Delivers Second Vessel for FunToSee Island Ferry: Custom 4818-HTC Offshore Passenger Catamaran “It’s About Time”

BRIX Marine is proud to announce the delivery of It’s About Time, a custom-built 4818-HTC Offshore passenger catamaran from the company’s PaxCat lineup, built for FunToSee Island Ferry of Castries, St. Lucia. This marks the second vessel BRIX Marine has built for FunToSee Island, continuing a growing partnership between the two companies. FunToSee Island operates St. Lucia’s premier airport water ferry service, connecting travelers arriving at Hewanorra Airport with resorts and accommodations across the island.

BRIX Marine Delivers New Bridge Cat 49 for Canadian Waters

Port Angeles, WA – BRIX Marine has announced the launch of its latest vessel, the Bridge Cat 49 (4519-DCT), constructed for Bridgemans Services Group to provide safe and reliable workforce transportation. The 44-foot personnel transfer vessel, named Bridge Cat 49 (BC49), accommodates up to 47 passengers and is built to meet Transport Canada passenger vessel requirements for use in British Columbia, Canada.
