Brix Marine Delivers New Recreational Catamaran

Port Angeles, WA – BRIX Marine is proud to announce the recent launch of Ohana, a 32’ x 12’ lander from its RecPro recreational catamaran portfolio.

Twin Yamaha 300hp outboards power the 3212-CTL. 300 gallon fuel capacity and a cruise speed of 30 knots ensure diving, fishing, and cruising destinations are well within reach.

Owner Jason commented, “From my initial conversations with the people at BRIX, everything was possible. I wanted to go away from a cuddy cabin and choose a bow lander, no problem. I wanted to have a sturdy dive ladder but one that could be easily removed if I wasn’t scuba diving, done. I wanted tie down pucks welded into the gunwales for secure spots to lash gear down, check.”

The full width climate-controlled cabin ensures comfort on longer excursions. The port side includes a dinette that converts to berthing along with the head. To starboard: the expanded galley, complete with refrigerator, diesel cooktop, and sink.

Ohana’s spacious aft deck with extended T-transom is well-suited for fishing. Additional deck accessories include two self draining fish lockers, two downrigger pads, and a roof mounted dinghy davit. The BRIX Beachstormer landing gear allows for beaching and loading people and equipment on any adventure.

“I had been looking a long time for an aluminum boat…a boat that was going to tick a lot of boxes. I wanted something that was stable, a good scuba-diving platform, something that my family and I could fish from. After a lengthy search, Brix was the obvious choice,” added Jason.
